Enjoy hunting for the perfect pumpkin? Indian Creek Farmstead LLC offers a pumpkin picking patch. Explore all shapes and sizes of pumpkins until you find the right one you want to take home. We recommend wearing boots or old sneakers because the ground may be uneven or muddy since this is a real pumpkin patch!

PRE-PICKED PUMPKINS

Not up for wandering around the pumpkin patch? Indian Creek Farmstead LLC provides pre-picked pumpkins as an easier alternative. We make wagons available to help you haul your pumpkins and other purchases to your vehicle.

PUMPKIN PICKING TIPS

TIP 1: CAN YOU CARRY IT?

Find a pumpkin you can easily lift! We provide a cutting tool, wagon and extra assistance if needed to get your pumpkin to your vehicle.

TIP 2: DON’T HOLD THE STEM

Gently lift and carry your pumpkin from the bottom. Avoid carrying and grabbing it by the stem to prevent dropping, rolling, or damaging your pumpkin.

TIP 3: CLEANING YOUR PUMPKIN

We provide a pumpkin wash station if a more thorough cleaning is needed before loading your pumpkin.

TIP 4: PUMPKIN CARE

Your new pumpkin will last all month with these simple tips! Keep your pumpkin in the shade to avoid excessive heat. Protect your pumpkin from extreme cold and heat to prevent surface damage and rot. Over time, your pumpkin will naturally begin to deteriorate.

Our pumpkins are priced based on the group that they fall into so you know the exact amount ......quick and easy.

Even though we grow over 70 different varieties you may not see every type on display at the same time. When a seed is planted into the soil there could be a range of 80-125 days from the time it germinates to its maturation/harvest date. Mother Nature adds to this complexity due to heat, moisture, diseases, insects and pollinator activity. In the world of farming we call this variable G X E or ( Genetics x Environment ) which effects the final product. In fact its been said this same variable (GxE) impacts our human outcome as well !

MILESTONE: A new look..an upright fruit with a golden color and large handles.

TYCOON: Pear-shaped/white to orange body with green to orange stripes..one of a kind

ONE TOO MANY: Resembles a blood shot eye. White body laced with red colored veins.

ROUGE VIF D'ETAMPES: French for vivid red flat. Great for stacking.

MOON LIGHT: Incredible color and a great stacker.

FULL MOON: A great white one. Can be up to 75lbs!

BLUE DELIGHT: Blue/gray and can be smooth or furrowed.

BUTTERKIN: A butternut-pumpkin cross with smooth texture.

BUTTER BABY: A mini butternut with brix at 9-11%

CANNON BALL: One of our school pumpkins.

GRIZZLY BEAR: 6-8lb round pumpkin with unique caramel color.

ROYAL ACE: 1lb acorn squash type with sweet flesh. Stores well.
